Our nursing staff have decades of experience administering medications, monitoring the ongoing effects and evaluating the efficacy of treatment. We can come to your home and assist you to administer any form of medication including Oral tablets or liquids, intramuscular (IM) injections & subcutaneous injections, IV antibiotics, rectal suppositories & enema’s, scheduled medications etc.
We can also provide education to client’s and disability support workers around the safe administration of your particular medications, and/or develop a medication safety plan specific to you. Where appropriate, we will also provide recommendations to NDIA for assistive technology relating to medication management that will maintain your independence.
If your client or loved one struggles with medication compliance or is subject to a community treatment order (CTO), our specialist staff have the skills to ensure safe and effective administration.
With a background in community mental health care, our nurses can ensure safe administration and compliance with high-risk medications. We can support you to comply with a community treatment order.
